I have worked in this business for how many years - and I just now realized that the logo for Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar is a pair of praying angels and not two scary heads, as I originally thought!

11:40 am - Not fishing... Just ruminating

I promise that I am not rolling for sympathy. I needed to put this into writing, just to be able to read how stupid my machinations can be when freed from my skull.
I went on a date last Saturday night. Nothing serious, just coffee & conversation. It was really quite lovely & I had a wonderful time. Mark is a delightful man & we had quite a bit in common.
The problem started at the end of the date, when he - horrors of horrors - asked to see me again. My mind went into diversion mode & consequently, my stomach has been in knots since then, lest I run out of excuses for why I cannot go out again.
Mark is not the first man with whom I have had this happen - any time I get reasonably close to someone I like, I feel the incredible urge to slam on the breaks.
I do not know if it is because I got burnt so severely, that I am very hesitant, of if I am a control freak nut-case who does not like the unexpected. Either way, it is a little annoying.
Oh hell, I am just going to join a convent - you can just call me Sister Patricia Trollbeater from now on.

This week, my company presented STOMP at the Capitol Theatre. Luke was instantly smitten with the show & the stompers, so I talked to the company manager & arranged for Luke to take a tour of the backstage before seeing the show again on Sunday afternoon. The cast & crew were lovely - and as you can see by the picture below, Luke has found his new calling...

He will stomp, I will invest in Tyelnol.
Damn it was a good weekend.
